INNNOVATIVE RENOVATORS OF GREAT CITY LIVING:
Foundation Home.Com’s Foundation Development Group, LLC (FDG) was established in Connecticut (CT) in 1999. FDG spent many years renovating properties in underserved communities in CT. Their focus was to revitalize underprivileged neighborhoods and give those within the communities the opportunity to own for the first time. As the market in CT slowed, FDG shifted their focus to opportunities in recession proof areas such as Washington, D.C. With the belief that this country is in a worsening energy crisis, FDG set out to make all renovations after 2005 “green” and energy efficient. FDG received a grant in 2006 from the US Department of Energy for the solar panels at 1337 Harvard Street NW. Capital Solar Condos is the result of 2 years of research and the sheer goal to develop units that will save money as the price of energy increases. FDG’s next projects are located at 1907 North Capital St NE, and 3213 Walnut NE.. All will be developed with FDG’s concept of green efficient living.
